Meeting with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation

On November 3, 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sanoi Boizoda received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Tajikistan, Semyon Grigoryev.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on cooperation in the field of water resources, including preparations for the 2026 and 2028 UN Conferences on Water, as well as the promotion of the Dushanbe Water Framework.

The Tajik side also informed about the planned organization of a high-level event on the sidelines of the UN Conference on Water, which will be held in December 2026 in Abu Dhabi.
