On March 1, 2023, a Business Forum of entrepreneurs from Tajikistan and Hungary was held in Budapest with the participation of representatives of public institutions, business circles and private companies of the two countries. Participants have discussed the issues of expanding trade and economic cooperation, attracting capital and implementing joint projects in priority areas.
The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Sharaf Sheralizoda, who, during his speech, along with a good level of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Hungary, underlined the role of further strengthening constructive relations between representatives of the private sector in the areas of agriculture, renewable energy, green economy, industry, modern technologies, pharmaceuticals, tourism, large infrastructure projects and other areas of cooperation of mutual interest.
Investment opportunities of Tajikistan were presented at the forum and Hungarian entrepreneurs were invited to start direct cooperation with Tajik companies, using the rich untapped mutual potential.
